Pâte de Verre Small Plate

A glass plate by Kazumi Noguchi, made in pâte de verre. A soft, frosted white with faint drifts of pale green, like mist moving across the surface. Each plate comes out of the kiln with its own pattern.

A good size for a slice of cake, wagashi, a few pieces of sashimi, or a side of pickles. Also nice as a bread plate or under a cup. Light glows gently through the glass beneath whatever you place on it.

Small and simple, with a presence that changes the feel of the table.

Care: Not dishwasher safe. Hand wash with a soft sponge.
