Pâte de Verre Rectangular Plate

A flat glass plate by Kazumi Noguchi, made in pâte de verre. A soft, frosted surface in pale green-white, with fine speckles from the fired glass powder. The clipped corners give the simple rectangle a light, graphic touch.

Good for sushi, sashimi, wagashi, cheese, or a few small bites lined up. It also works as a tray for a cup and a sweet, or for small things on a desk or vanity.

Minimal in form, it lets whatever sits on it stand out.
