Ryuki Sai

This artwork uses ceramic techniques that were developed during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. The artist's goal is not to strictly follow the past, but to appreciate the unique experience of living in the present, which is full of diversity.

The artist carefully considers every detail of the piece to create a sense of delicacy and tension when it is used to serve food. The focus is on creating an experience that is not casual and easy, but rather evokes a deeper appreciation.

You may notice a lot of sand is attached to the back of the base of the vessel. Please consider this as a tribute to the traditional ceramics of the past.
