Nakazato Hirotsune
1975 Born as the second son of twins at Shoun-gama, a Mikawachi
pottery kiln in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
2007 Opened the kiln at Arita-cho, Saga Prefecture
2009 Started overseas activities in Taiwan
2010 Exhibited flower vases at the Ikenobo Flower Exhibition
2011 Parent-child exhibition at Isetan Shinjuku store
2013 Exhibited at Taipei SOGO Reconstruction Exhibition
2017 Production of flower vases with global brand “FENDI” for their salon
2017 Collaboration with fashion designer Keita Maruyama.

While retaining the traditional texture of Mikawachi ware, he creates works that match a diverse modern lifestyle.
