Majored in glass craft at university and learned blown glass from Mr. Shinzo Kotani of Kurashiki Glass.
He uses a variety of blown glass techniques.
In recent years, he has been trying to make simple and easy-to-use pottery by returning to his origins.
His signature work is a wreath flower form with a nostalgic amber-colored rim.
